"Essential Best / Toi et Moi"

　白鳥英美子さんと芥川澄夫さんによるポップ・デュオ、トワ・エ・モワ（リンク先はKING RECORDS）の｢或る日突然｣、｢空よ｣、｢誰もいない海｣、｢虹と雪のバラード｣などはテレビやラジオで聴き、「いい曲だなあ」で記憶に残る作品となっています。ただ、レコードを入手したり、録音などはしませんでした。
　"Essential Best / Toi et Moi"（2007年リリース）をBOOKOFF SUPER BAZAAR イトーヨーカドー流山店で目にし、「欲しい！」となり、入手しました。
　上記の曲を聴きながら「こんな編曲をしていたのか・・」とメロディラインを聴いていたのみで細部を聴きとっていなかったことに気づかされました (^_^;　

　最近、"essential"と聞くと"essential workers"という言葉が思い浮かんでしまいます。これもCOVID-19の影響・・。COVID-19の感染力の強いオミクロン株で急激な感染拡大が生じ、「まん延防止等重点措置を実施すべき区域（重点措置区域）」として1月9日から1月31日までの広島県、山口県、沖縄県に加え、1月21日から2月13日までとして群馬県、埼玉県、千葉県、東京都、神奈川県、新潟県、岐阜県、愛知県、三重県、香川県、長崎県、熊本県、宮崎県が指定されました (T_T)
